Article 1 Subject Awards
ANCE CATANIA announces a prize of Architecture "ANCE Catania."
The first edition - in 2009 - is dedicated to the figure of the engineer. Emanuele Rimini, who was President of ANCE Catania from 25 November 1991 to October 20, 1996.
The aim of the Awards is to promote the value of the finished structure intended as a result of the participation of different subjects: by the developer, contractors, designers .
This approach is particularly topical now that the transformations land, in all their forms, tend to be more and more the result of a complex and with the participation of multiple entities of different nature.

3 - Types of Awards
The initiative is divided into three types of awards, namely:
1. PRIZE FOR AN INTERVENTION FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION
The Prize is awarded to a newly built surgery located in Sicily, designed by a designer in Sicily, which was completed in a period between 2003 and 2008.

2. AWARD TO A YOUNG DESIGNER SICILIANO
The Prize is awarded to a designed in Sicily, even if not carried out or completed by a professional born or living in Sicily and on the date of completion of the project is be aged under 40 years. The selected projects must relate to a period between 2003 and 2008.
3. PRIZE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL CULTURE IN SICILY

Article 4 Nature Awards
Awards consist of a sculpture for the event from a prestigious Sicilian artist of national reputation.

Nominations Nominations for the awards are proposed to Jury by a specially appointed committee of experts from CATANIA ANCE.

The jury awards the only persons selected from nominations submitted by the experts. There are no shared prizes.
Jury members receive from the "Technical Secretariat of the Press" a dossier on all the nominations submitted by the Committee of Experts.
Decisions are taken by majority vote of those present.
The jury's decision is final.
